About the B1 Tourist Visa

The B1 Visa is Indonesia’s 30-day Visa on Arrival (VOA) for eligible tourists visiting for leisure, family visits, or social purposes. It's the most common visa for traveler's arriving in Bali and other Indonesian destinations.

With the B1 Visa, you can:

  • Enter Indonesia for up to 30 days

  • Extend once for an additional 30 days

  • Enjoy tourism, visit friends and family, or attend non-commercial cultural events

This visa is single-entry and must be used within 90 days of approval.

Important Notes:

  • The B1 Visa does not allow business activities, employment, or study

  • It is available to passport holders from over 90 countries

  • You can apply online before you arrive in Indonesia (recommended), or at the airport upon arrival
